Job Description
Force Inspection Services is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry. Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.
The Labourer – Operations Support will perform labour tasks (including picking up parts, assisting maintenance, and supporting different departments) and assist with administrative duties such as entering expenses, handling purchase order (PO) requests, and other operational support. While this is primarily a labourer position, the Labourer will have the opportunity to be involved in multiple areas of the operation, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Labour & Operational Support
Drive to pick up and deliver parts, tools, and materials.
Assist the maintenance crew with general labour tasks, repairs, and upkeep.
Provide support across departments as needed, including moving equipment or supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, tools, and supplies.
Assist in other physical tasks to ensure operations continue without delays.
Administrative & Operational Support
Input expenses and assist with processing purchase order (PO) requests.
Maintain and update inventory records and other operational documents.
Support operational teams with administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.
Assist with basic administrative duties such as preparing reports, handling correspondence, and tracking supplies.
Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).
Strong English reading and writing skills to ensure accurate understanding of instructions, safety procedures, and documentation.
Strong work ethic, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Basic computer skills for data entry and administrative tasks.
Experience in a general laborer or operational support role preferred.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and take on various responsibilities.
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
