Job Description:

As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform essential laboratory tests and procedures to help diagnose and treat diseases. Your work will ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care through accurate and timely test results.

Responsibilities:
• Collect and prepare specimens, such as blood, urine, tissue, and other bodily fluids for testing and analysis
• Perform laboratory tests using various equipment, including microscopes, analyzers, and other instruments
• Analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and properly record all data
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals like physicians and nurses to provide the best patient care
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and procedures, including patient information and test results

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
• Experience in a hospital laboratory setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of laboratory testing procedures and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
