Job Title: Lab Assistant
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, label, and process patient samples.
• Assist in laboratory testing and sample preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of laboratory equipment.
• Record and maintain laboratory reports and registers.
• Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies.
• Follow laboratory SOPs, safety, and infection control guidelines.
• Support laboratory technicians and pathologists in daily operations.
Qualifications
• DMLT / BMLT or equivalent.
• Freshers or 0–2 years of experience preferred.
Required Skills
• Sample collection and handling
• Basic laboratory knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills (MS Office/LIS)
• Communication and teamwork
• Time management
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
