Lab Technician & Phlebotomist

Key Responsibilities

Draw blood samples using venipuncture, finger-prick, or heel-prick methods
Verify patient identity and label specimens accurately
Maintain proper hygiene, sterilization, and infection-control procedures
Prepare patients for blood collection and explain procedures
Handle, store, and transport specimens according to laboratory standards
Monitor patients for adverse reactions during or after blood collection
Maintain records and documentation of collected samples
Ensure all equipment is cleaned and properly maintained
Follow hospital, laboratory, and safety regulations
Required Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Phlebotomy / Medical Laboratory Technology
Knowledge of blood collection techniques and laboratory procedures
Good communication and patient-handling skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer and record-keeping skills
Preferred Skills

Experience in hospitals, diagnostic centers, or blood banks
Ability to work in shifts
Calm and professional behavior with anxious patients
Knowledge of infection control and biomedical waste management
Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
