Job Description:
Accuprobe Healthcare & Diagnostics is seeking a skilled Lab Technician to perform laboratory analyses, maintain equipment, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of test results. The role includes handling chemical substances, performing calibration checks, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The Lab Technician will work with various lab equipment, record findings, and assist in the smooth operation of the lab.
Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory analysis and record accurate test results for Accuprobe Healthcare & Diagnostics.
• Calibrate and repair equipment as needed, ensuring all tools are in optimal working condition.
• Collect, receive, label, and analyze samples or substances using correct testing equipment.
• Design and execute laboratory tests per standard procedures and record all observations.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of experimental data, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Ensure that all chemical substances, fluids, and gases are stored safely according to safety guidelines.
• Clean, sterilize, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines within the laboratory, maintaining a safe work environment at Accuprobe Healthcare & Diagnostics.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Valid laboratory technician license.
• Proven experience as a lab technician in a healthcare setting.
• Experience operating both electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
• Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
