Responsibilities
• Conduct routine and non-routine tests and analyses using advanced technical equipment.
• Perform quality control checks and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy in results.
• Maintain lab equipment in excellent working condition and ensure the workspace remains clean and organized.
• Perform biochemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to gather data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Record and document lab test results accurately and assist in related technical activities at SMI Hospital.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Process specimens in line with defined SOPs, ensuring adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time) and OTR (On-Time Report).
• Maintain quality standards as per QC norms and perform regular checks to uphold these standards.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding test results and lab-related inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining stock and order supplies as necessary to ensure continuous operations.
