Job Description:
Accuprobe Healthcare & Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Technician to perform a variety of technical laboratory procedures, process specimens, and maintain quality standards. This position involves working with sensitive equipment and ensuring sample integrity in a clinical laboratory setting.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare requisition forms and specimen records for submission to the reference laboratory.
• Process samples in accordance with established SOPs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Store samples properly to maintain their integrity and dispose of old samples as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pathology and clinical laboratory files.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and TAT (Turnaround Time).
• Strictly follow safety rules and SOPs while performing laboratory tasks.
• Multitask effectively and support other laboratory processes as needed.
• Report test results to the laboratory manager and other relevant personnel.
Requirements:
• Education: BSc MLT, MSc MLT, DMLT, or BMLT (2-year full-time qualification required).
• Experience: Prior experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a healthcare or diagnostics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and SOPs.
• Ability to work with sensitive equipment and hazardous materials.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
