YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE
We are looking for a Lab Technician in #106- 8255 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, B.C. V3N OB9 CAN. Your mission will be to:
Position Summary:
Conduct visual and documentation inspections, and photograph samples for special projects as needed.
Organize and file photographs and associated inspection documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Prepare, homogenize, and weigh samples for analytical testing.
Qualifications Required
Post-Secondary school education or equivalent experience
Detail oriented with accurate record keeping skills.
Qualifications Desired
Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills.
Strong computer skills
Positive outlook with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment Adapt to a changing environment
Work both independently and as part of a team Must be able to learn quickly
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Review LIMS summary reports to plan and organize daily work
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) when conducting following work:
Other duties as required
At any time, the incumbent must behave and operate in an ethical and Code of Conduct compliant manner.
Communication
Internal: Laboratory Operations, Customer Service and Sample Logistics Departments
External: N/A

Pay: $21.48- $22.61 CAD
