Job Requirements
We are looking for a Lab Admin to join our team. The Lab Admin will be responsible for maintaining the laboratory's quality system and performing analytical tests in the laboratory. The successful candidate will have experience in lab administration and a strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the laboratory's quality system in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform analytical tests in the laboratory, including but not limited to, chemical, physical and microbiological analyses.
• Ensure the accuracy and precision of all test results by adhering to established laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance and calibration.
• Order and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
• Work with the laboratory manager to ensure compliance with laboratory safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with training new laboratory staff in laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in lab administration and performing analytical tests in a laboratory setting.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
• Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
