An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) band 6 to join the team in Forensic Outreach (Forensic CPN’s). You will be expected to provide high quality evidence-based care and support to clients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Forensic Services.
You will be expected to work alongside the multidisciplinary team and provide holistic care for out-patients based in the community, who may have transitioned through the Forensic pathway.
The post holder should display and hold a strong emphasis on risk assessment and have experience working autonomously as they will hold a caseload. Candidates should hold a genuine interest in Forensic Mental Health services and be willing to work towards service improvement.
Training and development opportunities are promoted within the team to ensure our team is efficiently skilled, and supported to work in this challenging clinical specialty.
As this post covers Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire a full UK driver licence / access to a car is required.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
