Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Assist in the planning of meal preparation and ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in menu development by providing input on new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
Experience

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as knowledge of food safety practices.
A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is essential.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
