Kitchen Hand (Weekend Position)


We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume café.

Hours:

Saturdays & Sundays
7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role

This is a busy, hands-on position suited to someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys working as part of a team. You'll play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during our busiest trading periods.

Responsibilities

Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation as required
Restocking supplies and keeping workstations tidy
Taking out rubbish and recycling
Following all food safety and hygiene standards
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a kitchen hand in a busy café is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work every weekend.
Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
