Job Description:
As a Kaitiaki at our Whanganui village, you’ll play an important role in supporting the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle possible for our Care Centre residents. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, focused on person-centred care and enhancing the wellbeing of every resident.

Providing emotional support to residents who may feel anxious, isolated or confused
Helping maintain a safe environment, especially for those at risk of falling
Supporting individual and small group activities alongside Diversional and Recreational Therapists
Keeping accurate progress notes and alerting clinical staff to any concerns
We know that this role makes a difference - our residents love having someone there whose job is to spend time with them and put a smile on their face.
