Junior Wordpress Developer

WP All Support seeks a Junior WordPress Developer who understands the entire web development process and has a passion for making things work. One who considers the request for “pixel-perfect” a given versus a chore. One who enjoys figuring things out and has the experience and know-how to find trustworthy answers expeditiously. Responsibilities and Duties

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Understand WP All Support's Products, & Education, and IT teams to understand goals, develop requirements, and lead wire-framing

· Design and implement new features and functionality

· Establish and guide the architecture of multiple learning websites

· Ensure high-performance and availability and manage all technical aspects of the CMS

· Help formulate an effective, responsive design and turn it into a working theme and plugin

· Generate expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary solutions and bring new ideas to the team

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience

· At least 1+ years of relevant development experience

· Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

· Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

· Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications

· Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

· Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

· Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

· Ability to turn a completed design into a fully functional website under strict timeline requirements.

· Experience integrating with RESTful APIs

· Experience managing code revisions with Git and Github

· SEO experience is preferable, but not required

· Ability to balance projects and manage time efficiently

· Strong communication skills to allow for efficient team collaboration
