Salary: Rs. 14,000 to 15,000
Work mode: Work from Office
Working days: 6 days
Work location: Nagondapalli, Hosur.
Work experience: 1 - 2 years only in warehouse management. Preferred candidate staying in Hosur.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective warehouse processes, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth operations and optimal inventory control.
• Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reconciliations to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing workforce.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Taking care of daily dispatch issues (if any).
• Keeping a record and communicating to the management for the out-of-stock products.
• Raising Purchase order and validation.
• A thorough RCA on the complaints raised by the customer regarding the product or service.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling, storage, and safety measures are followed.
• Allocate manpower for daily warehouse related task.
• Validate the complaint raised by the customer with the stakeholder and Quality Control Team.
• Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to create a secure working environment for all warehouse employees.
• Utilize warehouse management software and systems to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfilment.
• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and fulfilment rates.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to warehousing and distribution.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the warehouse.
• Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports with the management etc.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Language – English, Hindi, Tamil/Kannada
