Junior UK Accountant

Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and be eager to build a career in finance. Key Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
Reconcile supplier invoices with the accounting system.
Prepare supplier payment sheets and maintain payment records.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Maintain and organise financial documents and accounting records.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and smooth operations.
Perform data entry and ensure timely updates in accounting software.
Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS as required.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
0–2 years of accounting experience (including internships/freshers with relevant knowledge).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data management.
Familiarity with accounting software will be an added advantage.
