Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in an engineering or aerospace environment
Ability to interpret engineering terminology, schematics, and system designs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document formatting tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)
Experience with document management systems and configuration control processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Responsibilities
Work closely with engineers to create, revise, and maintain a variety of technical documents, including:
Test plans and procedures
Assembly and operations manuals
Engineering specifications and datasheets
Verification and validation documentation
Internal knowledgebase articles
Support the development of customer- and compliance-ready documentation for a wide range of propulsion systems and spacecraft subsystems
Ensure consistent documentation standards, version control, and clear traceability throughout the product lifecycle
Update and maintain documents based on test results, design changes, or customer feedback
Participate in design reviews and test readiness reviews to capture and communicate key decisions and actions

They are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to support documentation needs across multiple engineering groups, creating and maintaining technical content that communicates complex designs and procedures with clarity and precision.
