You are required to be a Junior Software Engineer contributing to the CrossCore Platform team at Experian. You will be based in Hyderabad and report to the Engineering Manager. Your main responsibilities include developing high-quality software aligned with business requirements, translating business requirements into clean code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and integrating DevSecOps practices. You will also be involved in maintaining documentation for code, processes, and system architecture to support knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software aligned with business requirements and agile principles
- Translate business requirements into clean, scalable, low-defect code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and release software
- Contribute to development practices supporting continuous integration, delivery, and improvement
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into the development lifecycle
- Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and system architecture
Required Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in JAVA with exposure to .NET 6+ / .NET Core / .NET Framework
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies
Desirable & Useful Skills:
- Working knowledge of GenAI tools for coding
- Familiarity with Python/Scala, Spark, or other big data frameworks
- Experience in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
- AWS or other public cloud certifications
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
- Familiarity with event streaming/messaging tools (Kafka, EventBridge, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Exposure to static code analysis and vulnerability management
Qualifications:
- 14 years of hands-on experience in software development
- Degree in B.Sc. Computer Science, MCA, B.Tech in Engineering, or higher
