Junior Front-End Developer
Job Description
What role will you play in the team? As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team. You'll be responsible for implementing user interfaces, contributing to the design and architecture, and ensuring the responsiveness and performance of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with senior developers and designers. What you will do? You will be actively involved in translating design mockups and wireframes into functional and appealing web interfaces. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and testing your work to ensure a seamless user experience across different browsers and devices. Key Responsibility Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with designers to implement visual elements and ensure designs are translated accurately. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and share knowledge. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal website performance. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development. Contribute to the development of reusable UI components and libraries. Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side code. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility. Assist in optimizing website performance for speed and scalability. Required Qualification and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Basic understanding of version control systems (Git). Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Understanding of web accessibility principles (WCAG). Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly. Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and how to consume them in front-end applications.
