Junior Fashion Technical Designer
Job Description
• DEC in Fashion Design or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design is required
• 0–1 year of experience in a similar design role
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, (InDesign is an asset)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Assist in creating and updating development tech packs.
• Create detailed sketches from original samples or pictures that align with the customer’s Brand vision
• Support the product development process including tracking and managing fabrics, trim approvals, and protos
• Maintain development calendars and ensure deadlines are met
• Assist Designers in the showroom during the meetings with customers
• Assist with data entry, style creation, cads for customers, line review samples prep
