Job Description: Junior Engineer - Procurement
Department: Procurement/ Purchase
Location: Guindy, Chennai.
Experience: 0 - 1 Years (Freshers can apply)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to support procurement and logistics activities. The candidate will assist in sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery for project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Assist in sourcing materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements
- Prepare and send RFQs (Request for Quotation) to vendors
- Compare quotations and support vendor selection process
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery schedules
- Maintain procurement records and documentation
Coordination:
- Work closely with engineering, project, and accounts teams
- Communicate with vendors and resolve basic issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required skills :
- Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain process
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- MS Excel and basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks
Educational Qualification:
- B.E / B. Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrument)
Preferred:
- Interest in EPC / Oil & Gas / Engineering industry
-2025 to 2026 passed out batch

Immediate / 15days (Preferred)
