Job Description
House of Student is looking for a talented and creative Content Writer to join us. We are looking for someone who has a passion for writing high-quality, engaging, and informative content across a variety of platforms. You will be responsible for communicating our brand message and services effectively to students via website content, blog posts and social media content.
Core Responsibilities
• Research, write, and edit informative and engaging content for the brand which can include content for digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and communication materials targeted toward students.
• Work closely with the Copywriter, Design Team, and Marketing Team to produce content that is aligned with company goals, brand voice, and marketing strategies.
• Write, update, and optimize web pages, including landing pages, product descriptions, and service offerings, ensuring they are clear, engaging, and offer a seamless user experience.
• Efficiently manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality content.
• Actively contribute to content planning, brainstorming sessions, and the development of new content initiatives to support the company’s objectives.
• Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and messaging across all content materials to ensure alignment with our brand identity and audience expectations.
• Monitor content trends and competitive activity in related sectors to identify new opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating strong writing skills across various digital platforms.
• A bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and clarity. Ability to craft content that engages and resonates with target audiences, particularly students.
• Experience in writing for various digital channels, including websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other content formats.
• Ability to write and edit content quickly without compromising quality, maintaining a consistent tone of voice across different types of content.
• Proficient in conducting research to develop well-informed, accurate, and engaging content on a wide range of topics.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt writing style to suit different audiences and content needs, from educational material for students to engaging blog posts or promotional content.
