Job Overview

You will work closely with senior engineers, developers, and DevOps teams to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct basic application security assessments using manual and automated vulnerability testing.
• Assist in Secure Code Reviews under guidance from senior engineers.
• Use tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and static analysis tools (SAST) for identifying vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with developers to validate, report, and help remediate identified issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques.
• Document findings, write basic reports, and maintain records of assessments.
Required Skills:Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with common web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, SQL, APIs).
• Experience using one or more security testing tools (Burp Suite, ZAP, Nikto, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand application source code in at least one programming language (Python, Java, PHP, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CEH, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and security in DevOps environments is a plus.
