Job Title: Junior Accountant (Accounting and Bookkeeping)
Location: Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, India
Job Type: Full-Time, Office-Based Only (No Work From Home)
Work Timings: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM IST (Aligned with Australian Time Zone)
Experience Level: 1–3 Years (Junior Level)
Remote Teams IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, is the offshore extension of Remote Teams Pty Ltd, Australia. We support multiple Australian businesses by providing high-quality Back Office, Administrative, IT, BPO, and Business Support services.
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support accounting and bookkeeping activities for our Australia-based client. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting who are eager to grow their career while working closely with Australian clients and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Assist with month-end closing activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Support the finance team during month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist with audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to confidently communicate with Australian clients.
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data handling.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Capable of working independently as well as in a team setting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
