Job Title: Accountant

As we expand our operations across North America, we're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support the financial health of our business.
Position Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, managing records, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is critical to keeping the business organized, compliant, and positioned for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in QuickBooks
Generate daily profit & loss (P&L) reports and weekly balance sheets
Reconcile accounts and monitor cash flow
Track inventory costs and update product profitability
Manage payroll entries and liaise with the payroll department
Prepare and analyze financial reports for management
Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with CRA/IRS requirements
Maintain internal financial controls and recommend process improvements
Coordinate with external vendors and partners for invoice/payment tracking
Support budget forecasting and investment planning
Requirements:
Proven experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Google Sheets is a plus)
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with Shopify, ClickUp, or e-commerce environments is a bonus
