Job Description
We, at CDC are involved in management of Solid Waste in Urban and Rural areas through scientifically designed and effective methodologies for more than two decades. Headquartered at Jaipur, Rajasthan, our group has a pan-India presence, with on-going projects in more than 10 cities across India. Our key operational areas include Waste Management in Urban and Rural areas, Urban and Rural Health, Professional Internship, Training & Research and an initiative for RTI Awareness, Micro-finance, Social Security of Waste Workers and Street Vendors.
We have been recognized nationally and internationally by various rewards and appreciations for our outstanding social and waste management service across India. We are one of the few organizations in India to receive “UN-Habitat Scroll of Honor Award”, which we received for our best practices across the country; and we have also been recognized by Dubai Municipality in the years 2006 & 2008 for having best practices in waste management.
We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Officer to keep up-to-date account records and oversee smooth transactions with clients. The candidate will have great communications skills and a strong quantitative background, along with a proven track record of successfully handling accounts. The ideal candidate should be a team player and have knowledge of accounting functions. We also value those who are ready to learn and adapt with a fast-paced work environment. Work experience in the our industry is not required but preferred.
Responsibilities
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
• Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time
• Review both incoming and outgoing invoices
• Prepare project wise budgets on a monthly basis
• Generate financial reports for review of regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders
• Administer all accounts and budgets for various departments
• Coordinate with chief financial officer and evaluate all fiscal policies and recommend improvements for programs.
Skills & Qualifications
• Post Graduate with 2+years of experience
• Prior experience working with financial accounts
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in building culture
• Strong Client facing and vendor management experience
• Proficiency in Excel and Tally
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple & concurrent projects & Initiatives
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working
• Self-motivated and comfortable working with a team or independently
