Junior Staff Accountant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to support our accounting team with various financial tasks while learning from a great mentor.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, a desire to grow, and a drive to take on increasing responsibility within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with general accounting tasks such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and maintain financial reports and analysis.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Assist with auditing and compliance efforts as needed.
Use Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (internship experience counts).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
High GPA preferred - we are looking for an over-achiever who excelled academically.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
