Principal Job Elements and Responsibilities:
We have 3 primary sales channels, D2C, Marketplaces sales and Offline/institutional sales channel (Hotels, Restaurants, Corporates, Exports & Bulk Gifting). We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Jr Executive - Logistics & warehouse to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is focussed towards developing and maintaining a user friendly approach in managing orders, squash discrepancies, and keep warehouses in tip-top shape. As an e-com brand this role will be the heart and sould of the business. The role will encompass 2 specific facets:
1. Warehouse & Inventory management:
• Ensure full view on material inward & outward. Generate inventory reports.
• Ensure excellent packaging standards – with zero breakage (while packing until delivery)
• Mange bulk orders
• Carry out half yearly inventory counting and perpetual inventory every month.
• Handle New activities - implement new digitalized solutions in WH operation.
• Track material shortages and provide immediate resolution along with catalogue and procurement team
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
2. Logistics management:
• Manage logistics dashboard for outward dispatch.
• Also work with logistics/courier companies to manage and receive inward goods form our suppliers
• Ensure full view on material labelling, dispatch and follow-up
• Order tracking -including highlighting customer resolutions with regards to deliveries
• Work closely with website and catalogue team to ensure full view on stocks
• Track and review Delivery Partners' performance against SLAs. Share projections with teams and suggest improvements
• Discrepancy and Returns Handling: Resolve order discrepancies and handle returns per company policies. Implement measures to minimise future issues.
• Reporting: Maintain and analyse performance metrics, including Fill Rate, Turn-around Time, Cost, Discrepancies, and Inward performance.
• SOP Deployment: Ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs, guide staff, conduct audits, and continuously improve processes based on feedback.
• Logistics Partner Management: Identify, onboard, and track new logistics partners for optimal delivery performance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in excel and logistics dashboard operation is a must.
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics or ecommerce
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and drive.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on results and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
