Emerge Modular Ltd. is a fully integrated construction company that focuses on the residential multi-unit market.

Modular construction is a process in which a building is constructed off-site, under controlled plant conditions, using the same materials and designing to the same codes and standards as conventionally built buildings, in about half the time. Emerge Modular plant is in Three Hills Alberta.

Experienced Journeyman Plumber Required

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team. You will collaborate with the project manager and building team for installing pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential and commercial buildings. The Plumber reads blueprints, drawings, and specification to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems. Plumbers work in cooperation with other laborers and trades to ensure that all specifications and policies are met, and to ensure the efficient completion of any project.

All projects are run from 7:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials
• Identify the required tools and special equipment
• Select the size and type of pipe required for the job
• Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
• Assemble and install valves and fittings
• Install water treatment equipment, piping, and controls
• Install plumbing fixtures, appliances, and trim
• Test pipe system and fixtures for pressure and leaks
• Comply with all company and government safety standards

Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Journeyman Plumber ticket
• 1+ years of professional Journeyman Plumber experience
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity
