Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman/woman Plumber to join our team. This position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing a variety of tools and techniques, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools effectively
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation tasks
Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
Follow all safety protocols related to plumbing, HVAC, and construction environments
Troubleshoot system issues using technical schematics and basic math calculations
Experience
Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman Plumber or similar role in construction or maintenance environments
Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems is preferred
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Knowledge of blueprint reading, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and carpentry skills are advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites or within industrial settings
Prior experience with assembly tasks and maintenance work is beneficial
This position requires a dedicated professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety. Candidates should possess relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
