Job Description
Bucklands, we believe that maintaining physical health through strength exercises is key to healthy ageing. If you're passionate about promoting physical activity and supporting others in their fitness journey, we invite you to apply as a volunteer today!
As an Active Ageing Volunteer, you’ll work alongside our dedicated Health and Fitness Promoters to encourage and support residents in their fitness activities. Whether it’s encourag residents to participate in personal workouts or assisting with group fitness sessions, your involvement will help residents work towards their individual health goals.
What You'll Do:
Encourage Participation: Support residents in engaging with both personal and group fitness activities.
Provide Motivation: Help residents stay motivated, work towards their personal goals, and celebrate their progress.
Foster Healthy Ageing: Promote strength exercises and physical activity as essential components of healthy ageing.
Time Commitment:
We understand that everyone’s schedule is unique, which is why we’re flexible with volunteer hours. Whether you can offer a few hours a month or several days a week, we will work with you to find a time that suits you. Your time and dedication will make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.
