About Our Business and Vision:

Optimal Pharmacy Plus is a proud Western Australian pharmacy group that has been operational for the last 20 years. We have a full-time position available at our Optimal Pharmacy Plus Jamison branch. The role available would be ideal for those wanting to work a roster including days, nights and weekends in a store open Monday to Friday 8am till 7pm, Saturdays 8am till 5pm and Sundays 9am till 3pm. All our Pharmacy Assistants and Dispensary Technicians are key members within our team so we are ideally looking for someone who has experience within a busy pharmacy environment and is able to multitask across all areas of the pharmacy. Also, someone who is vibrant and prides themselves on their customer service skills and product knowledge would be preferred.

Position Criteria:

Working closely with the Pharmacist and other team members whilst communicating clearly.
Follow directions given by the Pharmacist or upper management.
Rapport building skills with customers is essential.
The safe supply of Pharmacy and Pharmacist medicines whilst asking the required safety questions.
S2/S3 Supply of Pharmacy and Pharmacist medications certificate is required.
Dispensing Prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail whilst always reviewing the patient’s records ensuring correct data and info.
All medications must be checked and approved by the Pharmacist before handing out to any patients.
Webster packing duties will be required on occasion and previous experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Stock management and marking off orders with accuracy, ensuring that the invoice details are correct and addressing any errors immediately will be required.
Proficiently using programs like MedAdvisor, NDSS and other services that the pharmacy is committed to, will require your commitment and enthusiasm.
Following all pharmacy duties and requirements to the utmost highest standards.
Confidently recommending our products and services to all customers and clients including our Loyalty programme.
Available to work evenings and weekend shifts or when requested.
Selection Criteria:

The position available is Full-time for days and weekends.
The selected candidate must be highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise your work load and required tasks.
Someone who has a friendly and happy personality and can get along with other backgrounds and cultures is always a must.
