The Art School at Old Church is seeking a creative and collaborative Program Manager to lead and grow our classes, workshops, and community programs. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in a vibrant nonprofit arts environment—while maintaining a part-time schedule (three days a week).
About Us
Founded by artists in 1974, we are a community-based nonprofit arts center dedicated to providing high-quality arts education and exhibitions for all ages. Our programs foster creativity, connection, and lifelong learning in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead planning and execution of course catalogs (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Summer Camp)
Recruit, schedule, and support instructors
Oversee student experience and program quality
Manage studio readiness, supplies, and day-to-day program operations
Build partnerships with community organizations
· Collaborate on exhibitions, events, and gallery openings
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in arts, education, or nonprofit program management
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Experience working with artists, educators, and community stakeholders
A passion for arts education and community engagement
