Financial Analyst, Ad Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Corporation is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Ad Sales Finance team. The Financial Analyst will assist with expense budget planning and provide daily operational and analytical support across the ad sales organization.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Monthly Close, Budgeting & Forecasting

Perform monthly financial close including expense accrual entries and general ledger reconciliations
Prepare monthly reporting and detailed variance analysis
Prepare variance drivers and commentary for executive reporting packages and network finance teams
Reconcile detailed expense budgets for Research, Marketing, T&E, Events and Digital
Update models with actuals, revise forecasts for monthly/quarterly submissions

Analysis & Daily Operations

Invoice processing and management of expense authorizations & vendor onboarding requests
Maintain Workday T&E reporting & expense management by ad sales employee & management team
Field ad hoc reporting requests from Sales management and Corporate Finance
Assist with envisioning and creating new reporting as needed
Work closely with peers in Ad Sales and Finance groups
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Accounting/Finance/Economics bachelor’s degree
1-3 years of experience in Public Accounting, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking
Exceptional attention to detail, ability to produce high quality deliverables
Comfort working under tight deadlines
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Ability and willingness to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment
Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data set
