Java Web Developer

Job description
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications on Azure infrastructure.

Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable Java web applications.
• Develop server-side logic and integrate front-end elements.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate specifications into functional applications.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct code reviews and resolve software defects.

Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with Spring or other Java-based frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Hibernate and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud and Azure infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Strong SQL and database management skills.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
