Java Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Team Lead to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Java developers, overseeing the design and implementation of complex systems, and ensuring best practices in software development. You will play a key role in shaping technical solutions and mentoring team members, while collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of Java developers through the software development life cycle
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and automation
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-impact features
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture
• Coach and mentor team members, supporting their technical and professional growth
• Drive process improvements and advocate for engineering excellence
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
RequirementsMust-Have:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Java development
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of performance tuning and scalable system design
