Java Scala Developer

Overview

As Java Scala Developer, you will work closely with the Development Team to implement software solutions and applications, isolate problems, and collaborate in a high-paced, agile atmosphere. You should be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative in tackling work while following software development best practices and company guidelines.

Responsibilities
• Understand requirements and functional specifications
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
• Ensure quality projects are delivered within defined timelines
• Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards
• Learn and evaluate new technologies/tools as needed
• Open to learning and working with Scala (if required)

Requirements

You are:
• An expert in Java 8 & above, J2EE, Microservices
• Highly experienced with Spring boot and have experience in microservices
• Experienced in developing and supporting Java-based websites, with strong knowledge of Java, JSP, and Spring
• Knowledgeable in MySQL/Oracle/SQL, Mongo DB, JDBC, Core Java, Java Swings, and AJAX Application Development
• Experienced in object-oriented programming along with Patterns, Algorithms, Multithreading, Data structures, etc.
• Experienced/knowledgeable in Scala (a must)
• Equipped with REST API principles knowledge
• Highly knowledgeable of multi-threads
• An individual contributor

It would be great if you also had:
• Prior experience in banking, financial services, and fintech in an enterprise environment
