Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Java Lead(LLD/HLD). As a Java Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing and developing complex software solutions using Java. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure optimal delivery of the product while meeting customer requirements.
Qualifications
• Extensive min. 5 years experience in Java development and a sound understanding of Java application architecture
• Experience in designing and developing high-volume, high-performance, and high-availability applications using proven frameworks like Springboot
• A clear understanding of software development best practices and development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
• Experience creating software architecture and developing detailed design specifications to solve complex business problems
• Ability to manage, mentor and lead a team of developers working with remote teams
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with and report to cross-functional teams and partners to ensure optimal delivery
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Extensive Work Experience in LLD Design Pattern.
Requirements:
• You have mastered multiple platforms and – whether it is SOAP vs REST or Postgres vs MySQL – you know when to use which and can argue all the pros and cons of Strong typing vs ease of use OR browser compatibility issues vs lack of community support OR MVCC vs multiple backend storage engines OR scalability vs simplicity etc.
• You continue to be very involved in technology and still check-in code.
• You are passionate about automated testing, good design, performance and scalability. You have exceptional oral/written communication skills, excellent logical reasoning and a keen sense of business.
• You can deliver good software with a kick-ass user experience, at a rapid pace.
• You have 5-8 years of software development experience (The more core-Java focused the better)
• You have a track record of working on scalable applications, preferably at a major internet property or well known startup
• You have a good grasp on programming fundamentals including OOP, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Data
• Structures, Networking and OS Concepts.
• Good understanding of Java concurrency concepts.
• You have an experience of leading a team of atleast 2-3 people or mentoring on technical aspects of project.
• You have experience in building things from scratch for microservices architecture .
• Have experience in code-reviews: one-on-one as well as online and having strong opinions about beautiful and quality code.
• You are familiar with relational databases, experience of writing complex queries (we use MS-SQL/MySQL)
• You can exhibit a passion and enthusiasm for remarkable technology (Knowledge and contribution to open source projects, Active Blog, etc...)
• You have the ability to learn emerging technical standards and apply/coach development team in proper adoption.
• Knowledge and experience working with frameworks like Spring,Spring boot , Hibernate would be bonus.
