About the role:

TELUS International is looking to hire a Sr Applications Developer / Module Lead (Immediate Joiners)

Role :Applications Development Technical Team Leader

Location: Noida, Bangalore

Experience Range: 5 to + Years

Key responsibility:
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
• Good communication skills.
• Mentor and Guide team on tech.

Job Description:

Must have at least 5+ years of experience in Java

· Strong knowledge on Java 1.8 features and multi-threading.

· Strong hands on experience in Spring, Spring boot services implementation and Micro services architecture.

· Strong knowledge to implement junit test cases using test frameworks like mockito

· Strong knowledge of CI/CD mechanism (Jenkins, Gitlab)

· Strong knowledge of version control systems (GIT, SVN etc), build tools (gradle and maven).

· Should have experience in handling Messaging system Kafka

· Knowledge and experience with Relational Database: MS-SQL / Oracle and no sql like MongoDB

· Strong knowledge and experience with Linux platform and shell scripting.

· Strong knowledge and experience with the development of Web Services using REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA.

· Experience of working with Agile methodologies.

Good to have:

· Experience on webMethods Flow and Java services .

· Experience on Spring batch frameworks

· Exposure on Test driven development.

· Exposure on configuring swagger framework

· Exposure on api gateways like Apigee, spring cloud, zuul.

· Exposure to any log monitoring or health monitoring tools like Kibana, DynaTrace.

· Exposure to AWS S3.

· Hands on experience of using Intellij

Education Qualifications: B.C.A/B.Tech/B.E./M.C.A/M.SC/B.SC

Primary Skills : Java/Core Java, Spring boot, Microservices, CI/CD tools, Web Services(REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML/SOA)
