Working as a Java/Jasper Report developer for UBS Global Wealth Management - US Technology organization as part of Advisory function.
Technologist with strong analytical and technical ability with 5+ years’ experience in Jasper Report / Java Developer Role. Candidate should be able to work independently, must have good communication skills, and should have experience in working and supporting large complex application, infrastructure and environment.

GWM - US provides advice-based solutions through financial advisors who deliver a fully integrated set of products and services specifically designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals and families. It includes the domestic US business, the domestic Canadian business and international business booked in the US.
Your expertise
• 5+ years of experience in software industry experience in creation and implementation of jasper reports.
• at least 3 years hands-on experience in java/j2ee frameworks
• hands-on experience with jasper reports and various core java technologies and frameworks (spring, hibernate, mvc frameworks, java ee stack, concurrency, jms, jmx, soap, rest)
• good knowledge of rdbms, pl-sql, oracle, postgresql
• good knowledge of json / xml based frameworks
• good knowledge working experience with jsp, javascript.
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong business and data analysis skills.
• know-how of agile development practices (scrum, xp, kanban, etc.)
• adaptable, able to work across teams, functions and applications
• enthusiastic, self-motivated and client-focused
• prior financial/banking experience is highly desirable
• basic knowledge about cloud and devops is preferred
• exposure other reporting tech stack like birt, cognos etc is a plus
