LinguaVisa is seeking a passionate, experienced, and student-focused Japanese Language Tutor to deliver high-quality online Japanese language instruction to learners of various proficiency levels.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of Japanese language instruction, and the ability to create a motivating virtual learning environment that supports learners in achieving their language goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging online Japanese language classes to individual and group learners.
Teach Japanese language skills including speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation.
Develop lesson plans aligned with learners' goals and proficiency levels.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare and share learning materials, assignments, and practice exercises.
Monitor student progress and maintain attendance and performance records.
Foster a positive, interactive, and inclusive learning environment.
Participate in tutor training sessions and academic meetings when required.
QualificationsEssential Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Japanese Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of Japanese language teaching experience.
Strong proficiency in Japanese (B2/C1/C2 or Native Level).
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
International Japanese Language certification highly Preferred.
Experience teaching international students.
Experience preparing students for Japanese proficiency examinations.
Knowledge of modern language teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
