The Office of Innovation and Information Technology (OIIT) leads the management and development of information technology at the NIH by providing secure, well-managed operations and solutions for the 30 Divisions and 2500+ users. In this role, you will provide technical and administrative support for the local area network and data communication systems and networks. ['Serves as a technical expert in reviewing and implementing the ongoing network operations of network target architecture.', 'Participates in projects involving the application of digital communications techniques and common LAN technology, including base band and broadband media, switches, bridges and routers, media access protocols, and interfacing techniques.', 'Evaluates service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality performance measures (QPMs) annually and on an as needed basis to assess on-going applicability.', 'Serves as a technical liaison to other groups, ensuring effective communication of the organization’s capabilities, plans and needs.', 'Oversees IT and contractors’ responses to security audits and their corrective actions plans in order to meet HHS standards.'] If you qualify based on education in lieu of specialized experience, you are strongly encouraged to submit a copy of your transcripts or a list of your courses including titles, credit hours completed and grades.
