Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished, visionary Director to join Ajuba Tech’s Executive Team in New Zealand. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving business growth, expanding our technical teams, and representing Ajuba Tech at the highest levels with clients and partners.
You will own strategy and execution for the NZ business, directly leading both the Technical Sales and Software Development teams. You will actively engage with enterprise clients (especially in banking/financial services, ERP, and ecommerce), identify new business opportunities, and foster a high-performance, “can-do” culture. This is a key role for an energetic, entrepreneurial executive ready to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Set and execute the NZ business growth strategy, aligned with global goals.
Team Building: Recruit, lead, and expand a high-performing Technical Sales and Development team.
Business Expansion: Identify, pursue, and close new business in IT, banking/finance, ERP, and ecommerce sectors.
Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with C-level enterprise clients, lead major account negotiations, and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Operational Excellence: Oversee project delivery, resource allocation, and team performance to ensure quality and efficiency.
Solution Development: Oversee delivery of complex, high-value technology solutions—custom software, ERP, cloud, ecommerce platforms, and AI.
Market Presence: Act as an ambassador for Ajuba Tech, representing the brand at industry events, with partners, and in the NZ tech community.
Financial Management: Own PL, budgeting, and reporting for the NZ business.
Innovation: Champion new approaches, tools, and technologies that keep Ajuba Tech at the cutting edge.
Requirements QualificationsRequirements
Experience: Minimum 15 years’ progressive leadership in IT, enterprise software, banking/financial services (BFSI), ERP, and ecommerce solutions.
Education: Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Sector Knowledge: Proven experience in banking/financial services IT, ERP rollouts, and ecommerce platform delivery.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead technical sales and software development teams.
Business Development: Strong track record in identifying and closing major deals, winning new customers, and expanding enterprise accounts.
Client-Facing: Exceptional client management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills—confident working with executive and board-level customers.
Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of modern technology stacks—cloud, SaaS, AI, ERP, security, and ecommerce platforms.
Delivery Focus: Experience overseeing multi-million-dollar projects and driving teams to deliver on time, on budget, with high quality.
Mindset: Self-starter, “can-do” attitude, entrepreneurial, strategic, and results-driven.
Communication: Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
