Job Description: Job Title Senior Engineer (Mainframe/COBOL/DB2/JCL) (m/f/x) – Associate Location: Pune, India Role description, Team & Business Area Our Risk Services team at Deutsche Bank part of Enterprise Services Domain - Private Bank (TDI) develops & maintains applications for Credit Monitoring and Reporting. Projects are generally announced on short notice. Quality and stability have priority together with time to market. As a Senior Engineer you will also work together with business and operation units and bring development skills to enforce the development team within a Squad. You will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey. Your skills and Experiences • At least 6 years' experience in as a Mainframe system programmer and software engineer. • Strong knowledge experience with standard Mainframe applications and technologies, including COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL and TSO • Problem solving: Ability to manage unexpected events; control and deal with them quickly and efficiently. When confronted with a problem, you will need to collect information, analyze situation, point out solutions and apply them to solve perfectly in reasonable time • Experience in Application management and compliance topics • Process oriented, proactive, and self-motivated approach who has past experience in keeping overall topics under control by monitoring • Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment including agile tooling together with Experience and knowledge of investment business and its operations • Pro-active team player with good communication and English language skills.
