Job Description
Job Title: IT Admin/ Engineer – IT Scrap Inspection & Asset Verification
Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai
Role Overview:
We are looking for freelance IT professionals/vendors who can visit client locations to inspect IT scrap materials, verify assets, prepare inventory reports, and provide accurate valuation/quotation reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit client locations as assigned by the company.
Physically inspect IT scrap materials such as laptops, desktops, servers, networking devices, printers, and other IT assets.
Verify asset details including make, model, configuration, serial numbers, and physical condition.
Prepare detailed inventory and inspection reports with photographs.
Assess the condition and resale/scrap value of the assets.
Submit a professional quotation/report to the company within the specified timeline.
Coordinate with client representatives during inspections.
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all inspected assets.
Requirements:
Experience in IT hardware, asset management, IT support, or e-waste/scrap evaluation.
Good knowledge of computer hardware, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure.
Ability to identify asset specifications and assess hardware condition.
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Willingness to travel to client locations.
Own laptop/mobile device for preparing reports and sharing inspection data.
