Job Description
Assist senior surveyors during site visits and loss inspections.
- Collect photographs, measurements, statements and other evidence from the loss site.
- Assist in identifying the cause and extent of loss/damage.
- Review policy documents and claim-related information under the guidance of the senior surveyor.
- Verify invoices, bills, quotations, stock statements, repair estimates and other supporting documents.
- Assist in quantification of losses and preparation of assessment sheets.
- Assist in preparing preliminary, interim and final survey reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and claim files.
- Coordinate with insureds, insurance companies, brokers, contractors, repairers and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market enquiries and obtain quotations/price information wherever required.
- Assist in assessing salvage and depreciation under the guidance of the licensed surveyor.
- Update claim status and maintain records in Excel/claim management systems.
- Travel to various locations for claim inspections as required.
- Learn and follow applicable IRDAI regulations, insurance policy terms and survey procedures.
- Support the senior surveyor in completing assignments within agreed timelines.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
