Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, copyright law, and more
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the legal industry, with a focus on intellectual property rights
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IP attorney, preferably in a law firm or corporate environment
Active membership in a state bar and eligibility to practice law in the jurisdiction
Strong knowledge of IP Portfolio Management and demonstrated experience in managing a diverse IP portfolio
Proven experience in drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements
Benefits
Salary $185,000 - $215,000 per year
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of intellectual property-related agreements, including licensing agreements, research agreements, and technology transfer agreements
Provide guidance on patent prosecution matters, including preparing and filing patent applications
Conduct comprehensive research on legal issues related to intellectual property rights, providing clear and concise legal advice to clients
