Job Title: Inventory Manager

Location: Jaipur, India

Reports To: Factory Manager / Operations Head

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory management at Surubhi Garments. This role involves tracking raw materials (fabrics, threads, beads, trims), cut pieces, and finished products, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing wastage, and streamlining supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Control Tracking
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials (threads, beads, fabrics, trims, embellishments), cut pieces, and finished goods.
• Implement real-time stock tracking to ensure no shortages or excess inventory.
• Monitor and record daily production output and update inventory accordingly.

2. Stock Counting Auditing
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock audits for all raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure that physical stock matches the system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain a batch-wise record of inventory movements, including inward (purchases) and outward (used in production or dispatched).

3. Procurement Reordering
• Coordinate with purchase and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials.
• Raise purchase requests for replenishments before stock-out situations occur.
• Identify slow-moving or dead stock and suggest ways to optimize inventory usage.

4. Warehouse Storage Management
• Ensure proper storage conditions for fabrics, embellishments, and finished garments to avoid damage or contamination.
• Implement a First In, First Out (FIFO) or First Expired, First Out (FEFO) system for better inventory turnover.
• Label and categorize materials properly for easy retrieval and traceability.

5. Reporting Coordination
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for the management team.
• Work closely with production, sales, and logistics teams to align inventory with orders and dispatch schedules.
• Ensure inventory management software or ERP systems (if applicable) are updated regularly.

Key Skills Qualifications:

✅ Experience: 3+ years in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in garment or textile manufacturing.

✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).

✅ Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERPNext, Odoo, Reach ERP, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and suggest improvements.
• Basic knowledge of garment production processes and materials.
