Inventory Manager
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the GM in the development and maintenance of inventory processing standards for incoming and outgoing shipments/deliveries (auditing inventory and manifests), distribution, stocking/restocking, labelling and more
Review of all manifests and the logging of all incoming product into POS, compliance, and ERP systems
Own timely fulfillment of pick-up and delivery orders
Work with AGM and GM to ensure New York State ******** regulations are consistently implemented and executed, thusly the dispensary’s inventory stays compliant
Analyze inventory reports, stay abreast of industry trends and provide detailed feedback, including recommendations, to the GM and Executive team
Execute periodic inventory audits as directed by the GM and/or AGM
Securely move inventory throughout various parts of the dispensary as necessary; inventory room, sales floor, etc.
Problem solve inventory issues with a high regard for transparency and the best outcomes for all involved
Manage administrative tasks in a timely manner
Troubleshoot inventory issues and escalate to GM and brands as necessary
Troubleshoot IT issues and escalate to AGM & GM and vendors as necessary
Maintain cleanliness of the inventory room and dispensary spaces (sales floor, work area, displays, register, stock room, break room, etc.)
Follow SOP to maintain safety and integrity of the dispensary including but not limited to inventory, staff, customers, and community
Participate in the NYS Office of ******** Management’s Responsible Workforce Training and all other mandatory training
Ensure all customers meet age requirements to purchase goods
QUALIFICATIONS
21+ years old with valid ID
Strong attention to detail
Prior retail experience as an Inventory Manager, preferably in cannabis
Minimum of an Associates degree or similar certificate
Experience and advanced knowledge of ******** retail based POS systems
Must have METRC and ******** and New York State ******** tracking compliance experience
Valid driver’s license
Must pass all pre-employment screenings
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time as well as lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Knowledge of New York State ******** laws
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours; evenings, weekends, and holidays
Possess a high level of integrity and reliability
Knowledge of ******** products
PREFERRED
