Inventory Control Associate
Job Description
Premium Guard, Inc. is a privately held company, established in 1996. We are a leading supplier of private label solutions in the automotive aftermarket. Our focus is on designing, manufacturing and distributing products for automotive, diesel, power-sports and specialty filter markets. Our supply chain network now branches across the Pacific and into North America.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
This position assists in the accurate verification of product and inventory levels within the facility. Duties include the counting of product and reporting of inventory within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Follow safety guidelines of the Inventory Control department and general warehouse standards
Operate mobile equipment per safety guidelines and requirements
Use of electronic devices such as handheld scanners, tablets, and computers
Accurate counting of product in forms of individual, carton, or pallet quantities
Proper recording and documenting of product quantities
Reporting of any discrepancies (shortage/overage) to the Team Leader or ADM
Investigate causes for any discrepancies
Recommend possible countermeasures for root cause of discrepancies
Experience on Cherry Picker
Other duties as assigned
Background Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Strong math skills
Prior warehouse experience preferred
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
Certification or ability to be certified in mobile equipment (fork-truck, stand up fork-truck, etc)
Computer skills: MS Excel and Word
Attention to detail of alpha and numerical data
Time management and ability to work independently
